主講人新西蘭學(xué)者Robert Shaw教授系我校國(guó)際工商管理學(xué)院外籍教師。他曾在國(guó)外多所高校從事教學(xué)工作，專(zhuān)業(yè)涉及管理、研究方法和商業(yè)倫理，曾任新西蘭教育部、科技部官員，負(fù)責(zé)管理新西蘭中學(xué)評(píng)估系統(tǒng)。

本期沙龍主要探討西方教學(xué)的發(fā)展變化，介紹國(guó)外高校教學(xué)理論和方法，包括課程的目標(biāo)設(shè)定、本地資源的需求、教學(xué)的個(gè)體性和授課過(guò)程中的實(shí)踐經(jīng)驗(yàn)。歡迎參加！

講座簡(jiǎn)介：This seminar provides a brief introduction to the changes that are taking place in western university education. It then considers the teaching at GDUFS using western methods of presentation and communication. It reviews the goals of courses, the need for local resources, the individualization of teaching, and practical techniques of course delivery. The seminar will be presented in English but is believed to be beneficial to teachers who teach in either English or Chinese.

主講人簡(jiǎn)介：Robert Shaw teaches management, research methods, and business ethics. He has been at GDUFS for one semester. Robert is a New Zealander who has taught in many universities and has an abiding interest in vocational education- particularly business, education and teacher education. He lectured in teacher education at ClaremontTeachers College(Perth)and theUniversityofSouthern Queensland. For over a decade, Robert had been a government official in theNew Zealand Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Research, Science and Technology.He was responsible for the management of thenational secondary school assessment system, including national examinations. Today Robert is active in the Philosophy of Education Society of Australasia. Many of his publications and presentations are available online, www.shaw.org.nz/pubs.html.
